CHANGE ROADMAP

When you’re ready to launch the next season of your church, it is wise to form a Change Leadership Team that will identify appropriate changes for your church. The team should be led by your Senior Pastor and would ideally include 4-6 key staff members and/or key volunteers who are open to new ideas and who have trusted influence in your church. The timeframe for the Change Leadership Team to determine, propose, and begin to implement agreed upon changes typically ranges from 3-12 months.

HERE ARE SOME WAYS WE CAN HELP YOU (AND/OR YOUR CHANGE LEADERSHIP TEAM) TO CREATE YOUR CHURCH’S PERSONALIZED CHANGE ROADMAP:

“SUNDAYS AT AMPLIFY” VISION TRIP

00 stage Aug. 2017.jpg

Schedule a personalized Vision Trip/Field Trip to a Sunday morning worship service at the Pittsburgh East campus of Amplify Church in Pittsburgh to inspire new ideas and jump-start your journey. We will roll out the red carpet for up to ten (10) people from your church for a “behind the scenes” look at one of our weekend experiences. You can join the pre-service meeting for volunteers at 9 AM and then experience either the 10 AM worship service, or spend time observing a specific area of interest (children’s ministry, middle school ministry, welcome team, tech team, etc.) Then we will host you for a one-hour lunch at 11:30 AM and answer your questions.

Using the Change Roadmap as a framework for the discussion, your Future Forward Coach will help you or your Change Leadership Team to think through ways that your church can effectively plan and implement desired changes, including changes that will enable your church to more effectively engage the next generation. A Future Forward Coach can also serve as a sounding board for the Senior Pastor during the most crucial months of decision-making and change implementation.

  • You can put together a 4-6 person Change Leadership Team that is empowered to identify appropriate changes that your church should take as you enter your next season of ministry.

  • Your Senior Pastor will not only be a part of the Leadership Team, but will lead the way in identifying and implementing appropriate changes.

  • Your church governing board (session, council, etc.) to whom the Senior Pastor is accountable supports the need for change and has commissioned or will commission the Change Leadership Team to propose appropriate changes for implementation.

  • Your church leaders consider the need to create a roadmap for tangible change in your church to be a compelling priority - not just a good idea
